Frequently Asked Questions

General

How do I book a session? +
You can book a session by reaching out to us directly or through our online booking form. We suggest scheduling at least 2–3 weeks ahead to ensure the best availability.
Do you require a deposit? +
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The amount depends on the size and complexity of your tattoo, typically between £50 and £200, and is deducted from your final total.
What forms of payment do you accept? +
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and contactless payments. Please note that deposits must be paid in full at the time of booking.
What is your cancellation policy? +
We ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours will result in the loss of your deposit. We understand that unexpected situations arise — please get in touch as early as possible if you need to rearrange.

Tattoos

How much does a tattoo cost? +
Pricing is influenced by factors such as size, style, detail, placement, and the artist. Smaller, simpler pieces begin from £80, while larger custom designs are quoted on an individual basis. A minimum charge of £80 applies across all artists — get in touch with your idea for a personalised estimate.
How long does a session last? +
Session duration depends on the size and intricacy of the tattoo. Smaller pieces may be completed in 1–2 hours, whereas larger, more detailed work can require several sessions of 4–6 hours each. We'll walk you through the expected timeline during your consultation.
Can I see the design beforehand? +
Designs are typically presented at your appointment or sent via email the day before for larger pieces. We welcome your input throughout the creative process and will refine the design until you're fully satisfied before any work begins.
What should I do to prepare? +
Have a proper meal before your session, drink plenty of water, and make sure you're well-rested. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for at least 24 hours beforehand. Choose comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
Do you do cover-ups? +
All of our artists have extensive experience with cover-up work. When booking, please send clear photos of the existing tattoo so we can evaluate the best approach and explore design possibilities. Cover-ups generally require a slightly larger design to fully conceal the original piece.
What is the minimum age for tattoos? +
You must be 18 or over to receive a tattoo in the UK. Valid photo ID — such as a passport or driving licence — is required for all clients. This is a legal requirement with no exceptions.

Aftercare

What aftercare should I follow? +
Every client receives written aftercare guidance tailored to their tattoo or piercing. As a general rule, keep the area clean and dry, stay out of swimming pools and direct sunlight, and resist the urge to pick at any scabs or peeling skin. Always follow the specific advice given by your artist.
Do you offer free touch-ups? +
Yes — one complimentary touch-up is included within 3 months of your fully healed tattoo, provided you followed the aftercare advice given. This is part of your original price and ensures your tattoo looks its absolute best.
What products should I use for aftercare? +
We recommend fragrance-free, hypoallergenic products. For tattoos, apply a thin layer of aftercare balm 2–3 times a day. For piercings, clean with sterile saline solution twice daily. We stock a selection of trusted aftercare products in our studio.
What are signs of infection? +
Watch out for persistent redness, unusual swelling, warmth, discharge, or streaking around the treated area. Some mild redness and swelling in the first few days is perfectly normal. If anything seems off, contact us straight away or seek medical advice. Do not remove jewellery from a piercing you suspect may be infected.
